The D-20A and D-20 (older model) are not the same cartridge. Revisions to the D-20A include better intake and outlet channels to create greater water flow. In addition, the D-20A cartridge will not fit the older housing model US-550. Only the US-600A (current model) and US-600 (predecessor model to the US-600A) are compatible with the D-20A.
