Swift SGF-G9 GE MWF Compatible Filter

The Swift Green SGF-G9is a quality, compatible filter for the GE MWF. The SGFG9fits any refrigerator that currently uses the GE MWF.

• How is Swift Green’s production process greener than the conventional process?
• Conventional carbon filters are produced through a burning process
  called open pit charring, which releases pollutants and greenhouse
  emissions into the air. Swift Green filter components are produced
  with a new technology that carbonizes dried coconut shells in an
  enclosed self-sustaining system while capturing and converting the
  emissions into useful thermal energy. The end result is an effective,
  efficient carbon filter that has not added harmful pollutants to the
  environment during its production process.

Filter Replacement Instructions

• Remove the old filter by slowly turning the cartridge 1/4 turn to the left
• Remove all packaging, including the protective sticker at the top
• Make sure the o-ring is in place in top of the filter
• Fill the filter with water
• Insert the filter into refrigerator and turn 1/4 to 1/2 turn to the right (label will be in front) – Do not over-tighten
• Run water for 5 minutes through the dispenser to flush and condition the filter
• Reset the “Reset Filter” light, if applicable, by holding down the button for 3 seconds
